It's so immersive. It reminds me of some of my first journeys through the marshes and woods of Skyrim. At least that unfettered sense of wonder, exploration, and experimentation.

I really just read "but now Sony only offers one type of game, like This Banger, and This Other Banger, Yet Another Banger and Banger #4." I understand they all loosely have something in common, but Ragnarok is no Helldivers?

I almost always play as a non-mage Cousland specifically so I can become Alistair's queen. He's one of my favorite video game romances ever. So much nuance to that relationship. So many sweet little moments and conversations. So much awkward flirting. UGH. I love it.

THANK YOU for including Mouthwashing. Few games struck me so hard or stuck in my head for so long after playing. I know there have been other fantastic games this year, but the lack of love that one has gotten on end-of-year lists is really heartbreaking.
