Our work strives to cover all corners of the industry, from niche fandoms the gaming community is known for, to breaking news that is shared far and wide. We take all comers, and value all opinions (except the terrible ones - you know which ones those are).

TheGamer has been the first to report on some major gaming-related events. Remember that time a theatre full of children accidentally watched a horror movie when they went to see Detective Pikachu? That was us. We wrote that.

The ideal candidate should both play and follow the surrounding and upcoming news regarding new/current, as well as popular RPG's, including Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield, and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. In this role you will be responsible for researching and finding topics pertaining to the mentioned titles that would make worthwhile guides, and then writing those guide articles in a prompt manner.
